A.I.S. Renovations is as much about excellent home improvement projects as it is about family. A.I.S. was established in 1989 by Parks Sr. and Sandy Davis, father and mother to Shawn Davis (Owner) and Parks Davis Jr. (Director of Operations) in Columbus, Ohio. Today A.I.S. Renovations has 6 Davis family members working and managing the business full time. The love for home improvement and construction started with Parks Davis Sr. and continued into the careers of both Parks Jr. and Shawn Davis.
Upon graduating from Franklin University with a B.B.A., Parks Jr. worked for Darby Homes, a custom home builder, as Vice President and C.E.O. for Goldmark Development, a high-end modular home company. Over 30 years of experience has made Parks Jr. a knowledgable home improvement specialist with an unbreakable work ethic. Today, Parks Jr. is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the financial well-being of various projects under his supervision. He is also in charge of hiring project managers, business development, and helping design construction plans. Parks Jr. serves a hands-on role in nearly every aspect of construction management within A.I.S. Renovations.
As for Shawn, he began his career in setting custom homes with his crew American Industrialised Set, fabricating over 5,000 modular homes; through this, Shawn became an expert in construction management and a fantastic asset to A.I.S. Renovations. He now has over 28 years of experience in the business. Today, as President and Cheif Executive Officer of A.I.S. Renovations, Shawn is responsible for leading the company in providing an exceptional construction experience for our customers, business partners, and employees.
Shawn’s home fabrication business American Industrialised Set started the basis for what A.I.S. Renovations is today. American Industrialized Set traveled to over five surrounding states in the company’s early days fabricating modular homes. Shawn, being the primary manager, was eventually ready to settle down and have a family of his own after so much traveling. For this reason, Parks Jr. and Shawn set a meeting to discuss the potential of a new renovation division for American Industrialized Set close to home.
With Parks Jr.’s experience in designing and building custom homes and Shawn’s expertise in home improvements and construction, they decided to concentrate their efforts and knowledge on creating A.I.S. Renovations. Parks Jr. developed the marketing program and identity for the company, and now years later, A.I.S. Renovations has received numerous awards for its finished products, integrity, and care for its clientele. As Parks Sr. taught his boys, “You get what you inspect, not what you expect.” it hangs proudly in our office and is something taught to all of our crews. You will find a family member to be a significant part of any project ensuring that the quality and integrity we demand are met.
Now specializing in custom home improvement, A.I.S. Renovations is capable of handling a wide range of projects and has received superior ratings in roofing, storm damage repair, interior and exterior remodeling, kitchen and bath remodeling, and new builds.
